Mila took her very first trip to Disneyland in March 2018. She was only 6 months old at the time, but she still had a blast. She enjoyed the rides, but her favorite moment was probably meeting Tiana. She had the brightest smile on her face, and wouldn't take her eyes off of her.
Our trip in July was her second trip to Disneyland. We went to celebrate her Auntie Caitlyn's birthday, and Mommy's graduation. The trip ended up being a ton of fun! The heat didn't bother Mila one bit because we had a stroller fan, and brought her comfortable stroller. We had plenty of snacks for her, and came extremely prepared.

Mila's favorite things from this trip were definitely the parades, the character meet and greets, and all the food! We watched both of the parades that Disneyland had during our trip, and she was mesmerized. Her favorite parade was "Paint The Night", which is basically a huge light show with a lot of characters and dancing. If you know Mila, you know she loves all three of those things. She was giggling and dancing the whole time, and it was definitely one of her favorite parts of the trip.

Meeting characters once again proved to be another favorite moment of Mila's trip. During this visit we got to meet the man himself, Mickey Mouse! Mila was stunned. Like, actually stunned. I don't know if she recognized him from the dolls around the park or what, but she looked like she was meeting her idol. The kids who went before us were older, and one of them screamed upon being placed next to Mickey, so I was worried that Mila would think that this was a scary situation. But luckily, she paid absolutely no attention to what happened before her, and she came up to him with a huge smile. She grabbed onto his nose the entire time, just looking into his face.

Since Mila was 9 months-old during this trip, she got to eat some of my food! We would share breakfast and many other meals together. She's always extremely happy when she gets to share food or water with me. I think it makes her feel like a big girl.

We went on all of the "baby rides" during this trip, and got to take her to the majority of the shows. "Turtle Talk" was another one of her favorites. It's a show where kids get to talk and interact with Crush from Finding Nemo. Mila bounced and babbled throughout the entire show.
It's magical to take Mila to such a huge part of my childhood. I grew up waiting for our next Disneyland trip, and wishing to go again as soon as possible. Even as an adult, my love for Disneyland never waivered. Every time Mila smiles or looks at something with absolute amazement, it warms my heart.
…It was only 23 years ago when her momma was her age, wandering around Disneyland with the same exact look on her face.
