Mila LOVES her lunch plates. I'm really trying to find ways to incorporate more vegetables in (HELP), but she gets a healthy variety of food from the plates I make. She loves peanut butter on bread, cheese, and many different kinds of fruits. I like to switch the choices up every now and then, but these plates usually incorporate:
Cheese
Whole Grain Bread
Peanut Butter
Oranges/Strawberries/Bananas
Yogurt
I choose to feed Mila organic products, so all of these items are organic. I switch things in and out depending on what she's had for breakfast that day, and what she'll be having for dinner. However, this is usually what her lunch plate looks like.
We started these lunch plates about 2 weeks ago, and I'll be attempting to change them significantly within this next week. I want to introduce new foods to her palate, and get her comfortable with them before we change the plate again. I wanted to start with these foods because she was already pretty used to them, so making them a normal part of her eating routine wasn't too difficult. I also just recently switched her to whole milk, so I didn't want to change up her diet too much.
Within this next week, I think we will be adding a veggie that she'll tolerate into the plate, be keeping the cheese and fruit, and be switching out the bread for quinoa. I'll let you all know how it goes!
Here's what our lunch plates look like!
